A Tuscan Adventure

A vacation doesn’t have to be all about relaxation, so if you’re looking to get your adrenaline pumping on the trip of a lifetime, you may want to find out more about our Tuscan Adventure Tour.

For a whole week you’ll be able to enjoy a fun-filled itinerary that we’ve personally planned ourselves; one that includes the exploration of historical towns, Vespa tours, breathtaking sights, amazing landmarks, and so much more. You’ll also get the chance to immerse yourself in the lifestyle of the locals, and if you’re interested in the flavors of the region, you’ll be glad to hear that you’ll get to try a number of traditional Italian dishes and locally produced fine wines.

While this vacation does have its fair share of fine dining and relaxation, it’s been designed with more dynamic holiday-makers in mind – so expect to have an energetic time here in Tuscany if you come along with us. We have injected some diversity for your stay too, so that we can cater to couples, groups, families, and friends, with a range of days out to suit the more adventurous at heart.

After a long and exciting day out, we’re sure that you’re going to want to unwind in style. This is why your accommodation will be a renovated Tuscan farmhouse villa; complete with a pool, so you can chill out during your leisure time.

Tour Itinerary

  • SATURDAY – Arrival
    • We’ll be at the station ready to pick you up at 3:30 or 5:30pm to transport you to the villa where you’ll be staying for the duration of your tour. If you’re feeling tired after your flight or need some time to adjust, you’ll be glad to hear that we’ll give you a couple of hours to relax and settle into your accommodation before dinner. For your first meal here, we’ll take you into the nearby town of Cortona for a delicious Italian dinner.
  • SUNDAY – Cortona
    • This is where the adventure and excitement begins, as we’ll kick-start your first full day in Tuscany by taking you into Cortona. When we arrive in the historic town, you’ll be provided with a coffee to keep yourself energized before going on a tour of this stunning location. If all the walking has made you hungry, you’ll be glad to hear that we’ll be taking you to a trattoria for a tasty and traditional meal. If you haven’t had enough of the area yet, we’ll allow you some free time to do a bit of sightseeing of your own. At 4pm, we’ll take you back to your apartment – unless you want to stay on in Cortona. Later, we’ll all meet back up in the town for your second dinner of the trip. We’ll enjoy a traditional Italian Aperitivo in the Piazza, before a delicious dinner (with wine included, of course).
  • MONDAY – Francigena Trek – San Gimignano & Siena
    • Your day starts at 9am, when we’ll begin our journey to the place where today’s exciting activity will commence; an exhilarating trek along the Francigena, with plenty of amazing sightseeing opportunities along the way. No need to worry about lunch – we’ve got it covered. The trek will begin at around 10am, so you’ll have some time to prepare yourself before we set off. You’ll be back at the villa later on, where you’ll get to enjoy some free time relaxing or exploring the local area. After all the excitement of the day, you’ll probably be glad to hear that you’ll get to enjoy your dinner from the complex with the other guests, allowing you to relax.
    • Siena & San Gimignano
  • TUESDAY – Chianti
    • Chianti is our next stop – and we’re certain that you’ll just love your time exploring all this region has to offer; from the many historic landmarks to the vineyards and wineries. We’ll take a quick coffee break in Castellina, where you’ll have the chance to find out more about the area. Next we have a long lunch and wine tasting session planned in the infamous Querceto di Castellina Winery – and before we take you back to your accommodation, we’ll give you the chance to pick up some ingredients for dinner.
  • WEDNESDAY – Vespa – Pienza, Montepulciano
    • “On the agenda today is a trip to the traditional town of Pienza, and we’ll be heading on our journey there at 8:45am. To give you the best experience possible, you’ll take a tour of the region and all it has to offer on a Vespa, departing from Pienza.
    • But that’s not all we’ve got planned for the day – as we’ll be heading over to Montepulciano for lunch, where you’ll also get some free time to take a leisurely stroll and explore the town. In the afternoon, we’ll take you back to your apartment to relax (we’re sure you’ll be ready to!), before taking you out for an evening meal. It wouldn’t be much of an Italian experience without a pizza, which is why we’ll be taking you to a traditional pizzeria in Cortona for today’s dinner.”
    • Bagno Vignoni
  • THURSDAY – Lake Trasimeno
    • “Your day will begin bright and early in the morning, with a trip to Lake Trasimeno on the agenda at 9am. Your tour of the lake won’t be a guided walk; instead, you’ll get to ride a bike as you traverse the region and explore the beauty that it has to offer
    • Instead of transporting you back to the villa complex like usual, you’ll get to ride back and take in the many views on the way
    • You’ll probably be famished after all this, which is why we’ll be heading Cortona for your dinner and an evening out before we head back to your apartment. “
    • Cycling
  • FRIDAY – Tour Free Day
    • Your last full day with us will be tour-free, giving you a chance to relax by the pool, go to the station to have your own adventure, or even just take a trip into Cortona – the choice is yours. No matter how you choose to spend your day, we’ll bring you back to the villa to enjoy one last Aperitivo, followed by a traditional Tuscan meal and wine.
  • SATURDAY – Departure
    • With your Tuscan adventure at an end, we’ll take you to the station, so that you can make your way back home safely
