Taste of Tuscany

If you’re looking to spend a vacation in Italy, why not join us for an unforgettable experience on our Taste of Tuscany Tour? It is certainly a favorite among our guests, and there are plenty of reasons why so many individuals deem it to be one of our most enjoyable.

A few of the locations that we’ll be visiting during your time here are Cortona and Siena, both of which are rich in culture and steeped in tradition. Fine dining and locally produced wines are also something that you’ll get to experience as part of your trip, along with much more.

You could improve your culinary skills and learn a trick or two by participating in a cooking lesson, where you’ll master what it takes to prepare and cook a 4 course meal (and eat it) under the guidance of a skilled Italian chef.

While there are a range of new tastes and flavors to relish, there’s plenty more to see and do here in the heart of Tuscany. For example, you’ll get the chance to visit hotspots such as San Gimignano, Chianti, the Piazza del Campo, and many more.

Take your time to immerse yourself in the lifestyle here, whether you talk to local artisans, take a casual stroll down one of the ancient streets, or indulge in the many great traditional foods in a provincial trattoria. And when you’re done, you’ll get to relax back at a luxury, renovated farmhouse villa, with stunning scenery and a dedicated swimming pool.

If all this sounds appealing to you, be sure to book a trip in between the 28th of March and the 24th of October, or contact us to find out more.

    • “While you may have visited Cortona last night, you may not have had a proper chance to explore the region, which is why we plan to show you around today. Your tour guide will take you on a journey through the town and the surrounding area – and to boost your energy, we’ll provide you with a fresh coffee to drink along the way. Those who want to immerse themselves in the true lifestyle of a Tuscan will be glad to hear that we’ll be heading to a trattoria for lunch. When you’re done, we’ll give you a chance to explore the area in your own way. At 4pm, you can either stay on in Cortona, or come back to the villa with us; the choice is yours. Either way, we’ll be meeting back up with all our guests in the town later on for an evening meal
    • Your dinner will consist of a traditional Aperitivo, followed by a tasty Italian dinner in the Piazza!”
  • MONDAY – Siena & San Gimignano
    • “To get the new week off to a flying start, we’ll be heading to San Gimignano at 9am. Before we give you some information on the area, you’ll get to enjoy a quick coffee break first. • Later, we’ll be heading to another iconic town; Siena. Here, we’ll meet up with your tour guide, who’ll show you around and give you facts along the way. After your tour, you’ll have time to sit, visit the local shops, enjoy the views, and prepare for dinner. In the evening, we’ll take you out to dine in Siena, which is famous for its traditional recipes and locally sourced ingredients.”
  • TUESDAY – Lazy Morning & Cooking Class
    • Any cooking fan will enjoy the activity we’ve got planned for today; a chance to make a 4 course dish under the guidance of an Italian chef! You’ll get to not only improve your skills and learn more about the traditional methods of Italian cuisine, but you’ll also get to enjoy the meals you make and the company of the chef, too.
  • WEDNESDAY – Pienza & Montepulciano
    • The ancient town of Pienza, home to architecture that dates all the way back to the 15th Century, is the next stop on your journey here in Tuscany. Before we give you the chance to explore the area on your own, you’ll get to enjoy a quick coffee break and some details of the area. At half 12, we’ll move onto your next destination of the day; the hilltop town of Montepulciano. We’ve planned several activities for you here, one of which is wine tasting and an extended lunch in a traditional underground wine cellar. After, you’ll have a few hours to explore the area on your own before we head back to your apartment. In the mid-afternoon, we’ll return to the villa to have some relaxation time. At 7:30pm we’ll head out once more, to have an authentic Italian pizza in Cortona – an experience you simply must have while staying in Tuscany.
  • THURSDAY – Chianti
    • At 9 in the morning, we’ll begin our journey to Chianti – a good place to pick up a bottle of the town’s famous wine as a gift or souvenir. When we arrive, we’ll make a quick stop in Castellina for a coffee break before you get to go and see everything that this part of Italy has to offer. At 12:45pm, we have a long lunch and wine tasting planned for you, at the world-famous Querceto di Castellina Winery.
  • FRIDAY – Tour Free Day
    • You may be going home, but your stay isn’t quite over yet – and because of this, we’ll give you the day to do whatever you please. Finally, later in the evening, you’ll get to experience one last Aperitivo and Italian dinner as a farewell and thank you from us.
